Successful extension of DIN ISO 45001
New certification valid until 2026
18.04.2023
Protecting all employees against accidents and illness at the company is of great importance at rff. Consequently, in 2020 we had our industrial health & safety management certified according to DIN ISO 45001 - two years after the standard came into effect. This approval has now been extended by a further three years, to 2026.
“The protection and safety of employees in the workplace is becoming increasingly important,” notes Jens Fuhrken, Head of IMS, whose responsibilities at rff include the area of industrial health & safety. “In addition, this approval makes it easier to meet the legal obligations that all companies are required to fulfil,“ he adds.
A further issue currently in focus at rff is the assessment of psychological stress in the workplace. “This aspect is comparatively new and complex. Psychological stresses in the workplace are analysed and possible improvements developed with the participants. This analysis provides us with important insights and plays a major role in helping employees to stay healthy. After all, they are key to the enduring success of the company,” Jens Fuhrken explains.
